The 14th Annual STS Crane Survey has been published as part of the July 2007 issue of WorldCargo News. The Survey, which runs to over 10,000 words and includes extensive tables and statistics, covers the period July 2006-June 2007.
It includes supplier analysis with detailed tabulated statistics on container gantry crane orders and key features of new orders such as outreach, drive type, hoist and trolley speed. As well as an accompanying commentary, there are additional articles examining crane and terminal productivity, innovative design features (including a new steel grade for STS cranes), and a call from a leading insurer to fit sensors to crane booms
