Canary bidders

La Luz Stevedoring and Necso, a subsidiary of the Entrecanales y Cubiertas construction group, have entered bids to operate the fourth container terminal at the port of Las Palmas...

This will be located on a 60,000 m2 area between the Virgin del Pino y Elder quay and the Dársena Exterior.

Naviera Pinillos was also expected to bid, but withdrew at the last moment, supposedly because of a greater interest in the proposed fifth container terminal for the port. This concession will occupy an area on Muelle León y Castillo, adjacent to the incumbent Opcsa container terminal......
