The Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL)'s Twelfth Annual Leased Container Fleet Survey reveals that as of 1 January 2000, the operating leasing fleet of the world's container lessors reached a new high of around 6.6 mill TEU.
Participants in the survey - IICL members Amficon, Carlisle, CAI, Cronos, Flexi-Van, Florens, Gateway, GE SeaCo, Gold, Interpool, Textainer, Transamerica and Triton, together with Capital, UCS and Waterfront - held 6,342,116 TEU of international containers at the beginning of the year....
