Westrail Freight sold to ARG

As this issue was going to press, the Western Australian government announced the sale of Westrail's freight business - just five days after final bids were received.

The Australian Railroad Group Pty Ltd (ARG) has paid A$585 mill for Westrail and has committed to invest a further A$400 mill in the state's rail system over the next five years....
