Famak does its own thing

Crane manufacturer Famak SA re cently supplied its first ship-toshore container crane, to the Drobnicowy general cargo terminal in the Port of Gdynia.

The 40 tonne-26.5m outreach crane is fitted with an all-ac drive package with squirrel cage motors from TES Industrial Systems in Holland. TES also furnished the complete electrical system for a 400 tph double level luffing grab crane (16 tonne x 11-36m with grab/hook and 25 tonne-25m under hook) supplied by Famak to the Masowy terminal in Gdynia two years ago. This crane is controlled with Allen Bradley PLCs....
