Following its Letter of Intent with Feldbinder for 15 piggyback bulk powder tank trailers (see last month's WorldCargo News, p12), Blue Circle is believed to be discussing an order for piggyback curtainsiders for palletised cement bags with Montracon/Boalloy.
Montracon (chassis) and Boalloy (tops) were not part of the consortium which won the £2.9 mill SRA prize last year. Blue Circle's accompanying order for Mega 3 rail cars from Babcock Engineering, under the terms of the SRA award, is still being negotiated. It is understood that Blue Circle may order 22 rail cars....
