Bailey, one of the best-known names in Dutch crane making, has been bought by a new combination which groups Hollandia, the steel structures arm of the Lubbers family, and ZNS Zuid Nederlandse Staalbouw.
As previously reported (see WorldCargo News, February 2001, p3) Bailey was earlier taken over by Ten Have, which acquired it from the troubled De Vries Robbe. It is not clear why Ten Have decided to dispose of Bailey, but the Hollandia/ZNS grouping is strong in export as well as home markets....
