KCRC mulls port rail line

The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) will soon appoint consultants to assess the feasibility of building a rail link from Hong Kong's Kwai Chung container port to Tai Wai, where the railway will connect with the existing rail network, which goes into mainland China...

Kenneth Leung, KCRC director for new railway projects, told WorldCargo News that the construction and operation of the port rail line (PRL) could be carried out as a joint venture between the KCRC and private investors....
