New Salerno-Messina ferry service launch

Next month will see the launch of the new Messina-Salerno ro-pax service by Gallozzi and Caronte Tourist (Matacena).

As previously reported (see WorldCargo News, June 2001, p22), the new 2100 lane/metre vessel is a sister ship of stena forwarder, which is currently chartered on the Dublin-Holyhead run by Stena Line from Levantini Trasporti Bari, the shipowner owned by the Visentini group which built her....
