Falkenroth forks out

Germany-based Falkenroth Group, claimed to be the world's second largest manufacturer of lift truck fork arms with sales of around US$25 mill last year, has expanded its capacity with the purchase of another German manufacturer, Molzen, Jacobsen & Company. The latter company is being renamed MoJaCo Fordertechnik GmbH

Falkenroth makes a wide range of fork arms up to 60 tonnes capacity and its list of OEM customers includes leading names such as Linde, Still and Jungheinrich. It is also active in the after-market, particularly for special products and had been using Molzen, Jacobsen to help meet demand in this sphere. Hence there was already a close tie-up between the two companiues...
