Business as usual in the big truck field

Among recent developments in the FLT industry, Haldex Barnes Hydraulics in Sweden, part of the Haldex group, recently received a major order from a leading global FLT manufacturer to supply a newly-developed hydraulic drive cooling fan system. The deal is worth SEK250 mill (US$25 mill) over the next five years.

Deliveries are due to start next year and will feature on a new range of counterbalanced lift trucks being launched by the OEM, whose identity has not been revealed, or whether it specialises in small lift trucks or (also) makes heavy duty machines in the 8-50 tonne range....
