Green Norway deal

Green Cargo AB of Sweden and Norwegian Rail Cargo AS are setting up a joint intermodal company. Although Green Cargo will own 45 per cent and Norwegian Rail (NSB) 55 per cent of the new company (whose name has not yet been decided), voting rights are equal.

Green Cargo, wholly-owned by Swedish Rail (SJ), was formed at the beginning of this year from the merger of SJ's rail freight (SJ Gods), trucking (Svelast) and storage and distribution (Ringborg) daughter companies, with the object of offering customers a more integrated service....
