Ten years after the launch of the Qualitynet network linking economic centres in western Europe on the Benelux - France- Iberia- Switzerland- Italy corridor, ICF is about to place "X.net," another major network, in operation on a stage-by-stage basis starting next month. The network, which will have its hub in Herne (Germany), will be rolled out in three phases:
* Next month 20 block trains per week will begin operating between the hub and terminals/interchange points
* In September 2002, a further 12 block trains per week will be placed in service
* From next January further terminals/ interchange points will be added and served by 50 more block trains per week....
