Singamas buys out reefer plant

Singamas Container Holdings has reached agreement with five major shareholders to acquire the remaining issued shares in its subsidiary Singamas Refrigerated Container (SRC) for HK$84.29 mill (US$10.8 mill), thereby assuming 100 per cent control of the company.

Singamas will buy 4.08 mill ordinary shares and 9.51 mill redeemable preference shares from three ChinaVest affiliates, Chine Investissement 2000 and Garden Capital, representing 46.22 per cent of SRC's share capital....
