Constantza, part of Pan-European Transport Corridor VII, has suffered badly from interruption of traffic on the Danube in the aftermath of the war in Yugoslavia. Tonnage last year, for example, was down 24 percent compared to 1996, even though there have recently been improvements in container traffic, with 118,645 TEUhandled last year....
