Valencia request

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has officially filed a request with Valencia Port Authority (APV) to be allowed to operate its own dedicated container handling terminal on the Muelle Sur 2 facility currently under construction.

The shipping line, which currently uses the common user terminal operated by Maritima Valenciana, has seen volumes steadily increase at the port during 2002 and expects the trend to continue well into 2003....
