Designs on heavy lift trucks

Big truck designs are in for some big changes during the next three years or so in the light of even tougher safety and environmental standards.

This is the opinion of Hans Carlsson, chief designer (masted trucks) at SMV Liftrucks AB. The Swedish company, which has just received ISO certification and completed its second plant extension at Markaryd (taking the assembly hall to 7200 m2), hopes to have its own new designs ready in time for Cemat 2004....
