.trial set for former UBH directors

A hearing took place at Liverpool Crown Court recently as part of proceedings that have been taken against three of the directors of the former UK tank container manufacturer UBH Ltd, based in Burscough, Lancashire.

While under the ownership of Hadleigh plc, UBH Ltd ceased trading in February 1999 due to alleged "significant accounting irregularities over a number of years" and three of its directors Chris Freeman, Alan Hodgkinson and Ian Papworth - were arrested....
