The world's dry freight container manufacturing industry has witnessed something of a revival during 2002, with production picking up strongly as the year has progressed. However, there has been little recovery in container prices and production capacity remains in serious global surplus. Upwards of 1 mill TEU of installed annual dry freight capacity is still currently unused, while price levels have, in recent months, barely kept pace with rises in material cost....
