Hong Kong stands to benefit this year as Shenzhen's ports struggle to cope with rising throughput
Provisional figures released by the Hong Kong Port and Maritime Board show that throughput at Hong Kong reached 18.6 mill TEU last year, an increase of 4.6 percent over 2001. While the increase is more than many expected after a poor start to the year, it pales in comparison with Shenzhen where throughput jumped 50 percent last year to 7.61 mill TEU....
