The proposed Hong Kong- Macau-Zhuhai bridge has received support from both former and present Chinese Premiers, according to Hopewell Holdings chairman Gordon Wu, who initiated the project (see WorldCargo News December 2002, p41).
“The news is very encouraging. Both premiers [Zhu Rongji and Wen Jiabao] have given the green light to the project. Opposing voices from various sectors have lessened,’’ Wu said....
