The Naha Port Authority (NPA) on Okinawa has ordered another Paceco Portainer from Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding Co Ltd (MES) for berth 9 at Naha International Terminal.`
The crane has to be designed to withstand Naha’s frequent typhoons and conform to a 63.5m height restriction due to the port’s vicinity to an airport. Outreach is 44m (16-wide deck stow) and lift height is 34.5m (5-high deck stow). It will have a gooseneck boom....
