Reflecting the group’s growing commitment to intermodalism, Den Hartogh is in the midst of a tank container newbuilding programme involving 150 special units. Most of the tanks are being built by Van Hool.
The Dutch logistics service provider for the European petrochemical industry has also added a fifth business unit in recent months to complement the existing liquid logistics, dry logistics, storage terminals and tank cleaning divisions. Called Logistics Management, the new unit is under the direction of Mark Warner, who has been charged with coordinating the development of optimised logistics solutions for interested parties amongst the group’s chemical shipper customers....
