Gardner Denver Inc, a US manufacturer of compressors and blowers for industrial applications and pumps used in the industrial and petroleum markets, has acquired UK-based Syltone plc for a reported £47 mill.
Syltone, through its German subsidiary Emco Wheaton, is a leading manufacturer of chemical and petroleum tank truck and rail tank car loading arms, but is best known in the container industry as the owner of French tank container valve and fittings manufacturer Perolo SA, which it acquired in 1998....
