A number of long-term relationships between established names and companies in the tank container industry have come to an end recently.
Jean-Frederick (“Fred”) Frot has decided to seek a new career direction after 20 years with UK-based tank equipment supplier Fort Vale Engineering. He started his tenure with Fort Vale in the early 1980s as a sales executive and became senior sales manager when Bill Robinson moved to the company’s South African office. From there it was a rapid progression to the positions of, first, sales director and then marketing director. Fred Frot was instrumental in the introduction of Fort Vale’s successful range of equipment for gas tanks in the mid-1990s....
