Two new, twinlift Paceco Portainers, built in Spain by Paceco España SA, arrived fully erect at Tilbury Container Services (TCS)’s Northfleet Hope Riverside berths at the end of last month, almost two months ahead of schedule.
The cranes, erected in Bilbao and shipped by a Dockwise dockship for “forklift” type unloading, are expected to be in service within the next few weeks. When commissioned, and the smallest of the cranes currently in place has been removed, TCS’ two deepwater berths will have a total of six modern, high speed cranes, to provide the impetus for business growth....
