International Asset Systems (IAS) has launched a new “street turn” service in the US to complement its InterBox Internet-based global container exchange system.
Drawing on input from users who want to find both truckers to dray their moves and empty equipment closer to their loads, the new street turn service is claimed to offer significant cost savings to ocean carriers and intermodal marketing companies (IMCs), as well as a revenue opportunity for trucking companies....
