ZPMC has won an order for a post-Panamax (46m, 18-wide) crane from Port Chalmers in New Zealand. Lift height is 37m on a 25.3m (80ft) rail gauge. Contract value is out at NZ$10.3 mill.
The crane will be of double box girder design with a full rope trolley and 60 tonne capacity under the spreader for twin lift operation. Maximum speeds are 70/ 150 m/min for the hoist, 240m/ min for the trolley and 45m/min gantry travel....
