India’s Kochi Port Trust (KPT) has handed over the Rajiv Gandhi Container Terminal (RGCT) to Dubai Ports International (DPI), which will operate the terminal until it is able to build and operate the new Vallarpadam International Container Terminal.
India Gateway Terminal Pvt Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of DPI, started operating RGCT at the end of last month and has taken over all the equipment at the terminal as well as its 352 employees....
