ABG Heavy Industries of India has emerged as the successful bidder to build and operate a container terminal at Kandla Port on the country’s west coast.
ABG, which has tied up with Voltri Terminal Europa (PSA Sinport) of Genoa, was one of the three bidders in the race. Its offer of a share of 48.997 per cent of the gross operating revenue was the highest and came as a surprise to other bidders as well as the Kandla Port Trust (KPT)....
