Bromma has provided more information on a Tandem telescopic 40/45 spreader that will be retrofitted to a ZPMC crane operated by Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) at a terminal in China.
As previously reported (see last month’s WorldCargo News p2), the headblock will include some of the Tandem features and will feature semi-automatic adjustment of the pulley wheels. An expander will be fitted to take the distance between the pulley centres out to a maximum of 2.6m, allowing a gap between the side-by-side containers of up to 1m....
