Vinashin Container Co (Vinashincont), a subsidiary of stateowned Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corp (Vinashin), is to invest VND396 bill (US$25.1 mill) in a new dry freight container factory to be built at a shipbuilding complex in the northern Vietnamese province of Hai Duong.
The company has signed a contract with Vinashin Construction Joint Stock Co, another Vinashin member, as the building contractor and is working with foreign and local businesses to select the best partner to supply production line equipment, according to Vinashincont director Dao Van Binh....
