Increasingly in the front line in the battle between aggressor Toll Holdings and takeover target Patrick Corp, jointly owned Australian rail company Pacific National (PN) found itself practically leaderless in mid-October after chief executive Stephen O’Donnell resigned, citing “intimidatory behaviour” by a senior Toll director.
PN had already lost its financial controller Mal Grimmond and commercial general manager Robert Jeremy, who were dismissed following allegations that they had remained employed by Toll at the same time as holding top PN executive positions....
