Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (MES) of Japan has signed a contract with TraPac, Inc for the supply of five superpost-Panamax Paceco Portainers capable of handling a 19-wide deck stow, to be delivered to its existing terminal in Los Angeles and the new terminal being built in Jacksonville (Jaxport).
As previously reported in WorldCargo News, Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) signed a 30-year lease with Jaxport over an undeveloped part of Dames Point and the new 2-berth terminal, with MOL’s US operating arm Trapac as the designated operator, will be opened in 4Q/2007....
