Valetta Gateway Terminals (VGT) a newly-formed joint venture of Portek (55%) and locally-based Tumas (45%), has won the 30-year concession to operate a multi-purpose terminal in Malta’s Port of Valetta.
VGT will invest US$10M in the next two years to improve facilities for handling containers, ro-ro cargo including automobiles, and breakbulk. The concession covers 1000m of quays....
