India’s Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has seized 200 kg of cocaine with a street value of Rs1B (US$22M), hidden inside a container that came to Jawaharlal Nehru Port from Hong Kong aboard Maersk container vessel VOYAGER. It had berthed at the partly-commissioned Gateway Terminals International, operated by AMPT.
Acting on a tip-off, the NCB segregated 16 containers that were scanned by X-ray, and then moved them to the nearby Mulund CFS for further investigation. Five persons were detained for questioning....
