Dragados secures Texan port deal

The Port of Corpus Christi has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Spain-based port operator Dragados-SPL for its planned La Quinta Trade Gateway Container Terminal.

The MOU follows an announcement last year that Dragados had been granted six months’ exclusivity to examine the La Quinta development file with a view to arriving at this outcome (see WorldCargo News December 2005, p11)....
