All quiet in Napier

The Port of Napier in New Zealand is facing significant costs to insulate neighbouring properties against operational noise after the Napier City Council adopted new noise management rules specifically for port noise.

Several NZ ports have had to address the noise issue recently, particularly after P&ON began calling with its new 4100TEU ships, which are much louder than those they replaced....
