Kalmar has received an order for 10 E-One RTGs from Saigon Newport Company (SNP) in Ho Chi Minh City, for delivery next year to the Tan Cang-Cat Lai container terminal. The all-electric units will be equipped with Kalmar’s Smartpath container position verification system and are configured as 6+1/1 over 5 x 9ft 6in high machines.
SNP handled around 1.45M TEU at Tan Cang-Cat Lai in 2006 and further strong growth to a throughput of around 1.7M TEU is expected this year....
