Ram Spreaders, part of Singaporebased NSL Engineering Pte Ltd, reports an order for four model 2940 CenterSpread separating centre twin 20 spreaders from Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) for use on new cranes ordered from Konecranes for Garden City Terminal in Savannah. Delivery is slated for later this year.
Ram has built up a significant presence in Charleston, 90 miles to the north of Savannah, but this is its first order from the GPA. The company says it worked closely with GPA’s engineers and this has resulted in a number of innovative features aimed at enhancing GPA’s “already impressive reliability and performance figures.”...
