Paceco España SA has provided some information on the new, allelectric rubber-tyred Transtainer design recently introduced in conjunction with its and Paceco Corp’s owner and fellow Paceco licensee Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (MES).
The design is modular and can be scaled according to requirements for stacking width and height, although the standard is 6 +1/1 over 5, with 40t or 50t SWL. MES has already standardised on the latest, eco-friendly Fuji ac drive controls with fault diagnostics and crane management system in Asia and Paceco España is offering this drive package, as well as ABB or Siemens ac drive controls. The machine is fitted with eight wheels that can be turned through 90deg for lane changing by means of an electro-mechanical steering/braking system....
