Zim Integrated Shipping Services has acquired AP Moller-Maersk’s 20% stake in Antwerp Gateway Terminal (AGT) for US$18M. AP Moller-Maersk inherited its share in the terminal when it took over P&O Nedlloyd in 2005.
AGT began operations in September 2005 and will offer an annual capacity of 3.5M TEU by 2010. The other shareholders are DP World, with a 42.5% stake, Cosco Pacific (20%), CMA CGM (10%),and Duisport (7.5%)....
