It is understood that Singapore’s Portek International has pulled out of its joint venture with Finnemme SpA (Messina Shipping group) in Genoa-based La Meccanica Generale Srl (LMG).
As reported last year (see WorldCargo News February 2006, p4), Portek acquired a 51% stake in LMG through Portek Systems & Equipment Pte Ltd, and LMG was renamed Portek Italia Srl....
