As previously reported, Bromma has been working on a spreaderbased radiation detection system (RDS) since 2005 and began field trials on the USWC (Port of Oakland) in collaboration with Veritainer last year (see WorldCargo News February 2007, pp42-43).
Field trials at a USEC range terminal (APMT, Charleston) are slated to begin this autumn, using an STS45 equipped with a scanning system from Innovative American Technology (IA-Tec)....
