GateHouse in first of seven

Denmark’s GateHouse has won a contract to supply an AIS (automatic identification system) to the French Island of La Réunion, its first contract in the French market.

AIS is an IMO standard for vessel position and status information and communication that ports can use to monitor and guide ships. Together with Kenta Electronics of France, GateHouse won the contract from the Centre d’Études Techniques Maritimes et Fluviales (CETMEF), a technical department of the French Infrastructure Ministry....
