Tangier Medgate SA, the joint venture of Contship Italia (Eurogate group) MSC, CMA CGM and Comanav selected to run the second new container terminal at Tangiers, has awarded Kalmar Industries a contract for 11 E-One RTGs. The 7 +1/1 over 5 high units will be fitted with twinlift Bromma Marathon electr ic spreaders and Kalmar’s autosteering and container position verification system, Smartrail.
The order was placed during June and the machines are slated for delivery next May. “Our decision was influenced by Kalmar’s ability to provide proven, intelligent software that will help aid efficiency and minimise driver error,” Tanger Medgate managing director Domenico Bagalà said....
