A groundbreaking ceremony was held last month to mark the start of construction of Saigon International Terminals Vietnam (SITV), a joint venture of Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) and Saigon Investment Construction & Commerce Company Ltd (SICC).
Located in the industrial Cai Mep and Thi Vai districts of Ba Ria Vung Tau Province, an area designated by the Vietnamese government for the development of container handling facilities, SITV will have a total quay length of 730m, dredged to a depth alongside of 14m, with a total yard area of 33 hectares....
