Songyu Phase 1 comes on stream

AP Moller-Maersk Group and Xiamen Port (Group) held a grand opening ceremony this month for the Xiamen Songyu Phase I Container Terminal at Songyu Port, Xiamen.

Jointly developed by APM Terminals (APMT) and the Xiamen Port (Group), Songyu Phase I has three berths across 1,246m of quayline, with a depth alongside of 17m, and a land area of 353,000 m2, enabling it to receive calls from sixth generation containerships....
