New KCT cranes
As part of the expansion project at the Kingston Container Terminal (KCT) in Jamaica, a further four new ship-to-shore cranes will be commissioned next month at the new western berth, bringing to 19 the number of cranes in operation at the facility.
In January this year, the first two of an order for six 65-ton superpost-Panamax cranes were delivered and commissioned by Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company (ZPMC). The cost of each crane is US$7.5M....
