MacGregor has won crane and hatch cover orders for ten 30,000dwt general cargo ships being built at a Chinese shipyard for Hermann Buss in contracts worth over US$30M.
The cranes are 40 GL-type pedestal cranes (GL 6020/5024/4030 + 2430 in grab operation), with four specified per ship; five of the vessels will have additional grab control systems. Delivery is planned to start from spring 2009 and continue at two-monthly intervals....
